Mut Zur Wut: Protest Posters

Done for the Mut Zur Wut international poster competition, this year's theme of the competition was the United Nation's 1948 declaration of human rights. These posters attempt to explore the concept of freedom in its broadest sense, the freedom of speech (see below: the first poster)Also, exploiting the racial/demographic prejudices people from different places around the world are subjected to, equal right to freedom anywhere, that despite our vast differences our human need for freedom is intactly preserved and persistent (see below: the second second poster).

30 people speaking 30 different languages recorded the word "freedom" in their own mother tongue. The audio waves were then extracted to symbolise our differences - look and sound, yet its the same word with an identical meaning and weight for everyone.
